Shipment Release Authorized - How To Discuss

By James Bradley

Shipment Release Authorized

If I allow UPS to release the shipment, I will need signature verification and it will be stolen. Am I responsible? 3

I ordered something very expensive from Amazon. Most of my packages never require a subscription. But with that you need a subscription. UPS offers the option to opt out of unsigned permissions when I don't. Am I responsible if it is stolen? Or does Amazon send an alternative?

Your guess is wrong here Steven F. I signed up for your UPS My Cice Delivery program which says (I can)

I understand that the sender has requested the required signature to confirm the delivery. However, by selecting I allow delivery for issue, I allow sending orders to UPS without signing. I acknowledge that UPS drivers reserve the right to send packages subject to delivery conditions (such as bad weather or security).

UPS does not allow you to allow unsigned releases. They allow you to sign a waiver left at the door before the driver drops the item on the next delivery attempt. SPEZIELL is responsible for your signature package on the download. As roderick_young mentioned, you also have the option to have the package ready for pickup on UPS.

In English, when you release them from allegiance, it means that you let them out of your door without signing. What happens next is not the fault of UPS or Amazon, it's yours.

If you have the option to request an autograph, please do so. This is an extra step they take to make sure you are ready and running your business. If you sign up for a package and it does not reach the recipient, then yes, you are responsible for the package and it is up to you to reach them.

If stolen, you are responsible. With your membership, you accept the delivery risk. The only way to be sure is that I turn myself in the UPS branch and, if I do not. ID cards and documents they have left on your door.

So if you say you left it at my doorstep and it was stolen then it is your fault. Especially at times like this, when it gets dark. Therefore, September is not a good time to send goods if you do not receive them before dark.

So it is best to send it to one of the UPS branches (if it is close to you) or to a trusted neighbor or your place of business.
